Looking to step up your game with lead route ascents? This two-day advanced course focuses on lead sport climbing, a specialized technique used to ascend a targeted route with the use of carabiners and quick draws placed only to catch a climber in the event of a fall.

 

Day one is about getting familiar with the basic skills required and processes of lead climbing. Day two ups the fun factor with implementation of the basics, putting you out on the sharp end of lead climbing a few routes with a top rope. By day’s end you will lead route ascents and wrap up with the confidence to be at the head of a route.
